Bumble Bizz is Bumble’s networking mode, encouraging women to build community and make the first move in their careers.

The Ask

Bring the power of connecting on Bumble Bizz to life through experiential.

Since Bumble is known for dating, it was hard to convince people that Bizz was a credible and effective way to network professionally, and that you could find people who would truly make an impact on your work life. We wanted to leverage local events and Bumble talent partners to bring people together and immerse them in Bizz mode.

Strategy

Bumble Bizz First Movers

The nation has seen an explosion of women-owned businesses – an increase of 467% in the last decade. However, we found that women face three key challenges that stand in the way of their success: lack of funding, good mentorship & a strong support system.

We dreamed up a summit series that would host the best and brightest in different cities for a day of programming, connections, and learnings that would uplift entrepreneurs and their communities.

Action

Brand Campaign

In collaboration with Early Spring and FlyteVu, we hosted the inaugural First Movers Summit in Atlanta, Georgia with Serena Williams as the keynote speaker.

As Director of US Marketing, I led the strategy, concepting, and agency RFP process, and collaborated closely with the team on creative, programming, and amplification.
